Overview
The Electronic Medical Record (EMR) provides a complete, chronological view of a patient's healthcare journey. Every visit, prescription, lab result, imaging study, and bill is consolidated into a single patient chart.
Patient Chart Layout
The patient chart is organized into tabs:
- Summary -- Key demographics, active diagnoses, current medications, allergies, and recent visits
- Visits -- Chronological list of all OPD and IPD visits with clinical notes
- Prescriptions -- All prescriptions with medicine details and refill history
- Lab Results -- Test results with trend charts for serial values (e.g., blood sugar over time)
- Imaging -- Radiology reports and images
- Documents -- Uploaded documents, consent forms, and external reports
- Bills -- Financial history with payment status
- Timeline -- Activity timeline showing all interactions chronologically
Using the Patient Chart
Access the patient chart from:
- Click a patient's name anywhere in the system
- Search using Ctrl+K and select a patient
- From the OPD consultation screen, click 'View Full Chart'
The chart opens with the Summary tab showing the most clinically relevant information. Switch tabs to drill into specific areas.
All data in the chart is real-time -- lab results appear as soon as the lab technician enters them.
