Overview

The Radiology module manages imaging workflows -- from order entry to report delivery. It supports X-ray, ultrasound, CT, MRI, and other imaging modalities.

For small clinics with in-house X-ray or ultrasound, this module tracks orders, manages the imaging worklist, and stores reports. For clinics that refer patients to external imaging centers, you can still use it to track orders and upload reports when they arrive.

Key Features

  • Order management with priority levels
  • Modality-specific worklists
  • Report templates for common studies
  • Image viewing (basic DICOM viewer)
  • Protocol library for standardized procedures
  • Radiation dose tracking
  • Integration with PACS systems
Radiology workflow

Imaging requests move through scheduling, acquisition, reporting, and delivery.

Doctor requests modality, body part, urgency, and clinical history.

2Schedule

Reception or radiology assigns slot, machine, and protocol.

3Acquire

Technologist performs the study and captures images.

4Report

Radiologist dictates or enters structured findings.

5Alert

Clinic tip

If you only refer patients for imaging, use Lab Orders-style tracking: create the order, print the referral, and upload the report when available. No need for the full Radiology module.
