Overview

The Accountant Hub is the billing/admin launchpad for finance-related daily work. In small-clinic mode, it should be treated as a draft and review workspace unless live collection and ledger workflows have been activated.

Route: /app/dashboards/accountant-hub.

KPI Cards

The hub currently shows four finance KPIs:

  • Daily collections -- displayed as demo or restricted INR in non-activated contexts.
  • Outstanding receivables -- restricted until the clinic has the appropriate financial workflow activation.
  • Pending bills -- draft or review count.
  • Vendor payments -- placeholder/restricted for small-clinic workflows.

These values should not be used as audited financial truth unless payment collection, receipts, and ledger posting are activated.

Quick Actions

The accountant quick actions are:

  • Record Payment -> /app/billing (restricted until payment workflow activation)
  • Create Payment Run -> /app/finance/ap (restricted)
  • Review AR -> /app/finance/ar (restricted)

For Solo Doctor & Small Clinic, the safe default is to use Billing and Creating Bills for billing drafts only.

Worklists

The accountant worklists focus on:

  • Pending bills -> /app/billing
  • Vendor payments -> /app/finance/ap restricted placeholder

Use pending bills to review what needs billing attention after OPD visits. Keep payment collection and receipt issue in the clinic's current manual process until BioEcko activates those workflows.

Small-clinic billing boundary

Billing/Admin users can maintain draft billing and setup metadata. Payment collection, receipt issue, refund writes, ledger posting, claims, vendor payment runs, and finance reports require BioEcko activation. This boundary protects small clinics from treating a draft billing record as a completed financial transaction.

Reception or doctor finishes the activated OPD/status workflow.

2Draft created

Billing/Admin selects the patient and adds consultation or activated service items.

3Review

Charges, tax applicability, discount policy, and patient context are checked.

4Manual payment

Payment is handled through the clinic's existing process if BioEcko payment workflow is not active.

5Activation path

Receipts, refunds, claims, and ledger posting begin only after BioEcko activates those workflows.

Clinic tip

For solo doctors, use the Accountant Hub mainly to find pending billing drafts and confirm that manual payment handling is complete outside BioEcko.

Warning

Do not issue receipts or post ledger entries from BioEcko unless those workflows are activated for the clinic.
