Overview
The Study Viewer is a web-based DICOM image viewer for reviewing radiology studies. It supports basic viewing for X-rays, CT, MRI, and ultrasound images.
Features
- Window/level adjustment for optimal image display
- Zoom, pan, rotate, and flip tools
- Measurement tools (ruler, angle, area)
- Multi-frame viewing for CT/MRI series
- Split-screen comparison with prior studies
- Annotation and markup tools

The viewer loads images from your PACS server or from locally uploaded files. For facilities without a PACS, images can be uploaded directly as JPEG or DICOM files.
PACS Integration
Bio Ecko integrates with standard PACS systems via DICOM:
- DICOM Worklist (MWL) -- sends patient and order data to modalities
- DICOM Storage (C-STORE) -- receives images from modalities
- DICOM Query/Retrieve (C-FIND/C-MOVE) -- fetches prior studies
