Overview

The Facility Management module provides a unified view of all hospital infrastructure -- buildings, floors, rooms, and spaces. It supports space allocation, room booking for non-clinical purposes, and facility utilisation tracking.

Space Registry

Define your facility layout:

  • Buildings and floors with naming conventions.
  • Room types: Clinical (OPD rooms, OT, ICU bays), Administrative (offices, conference rooms), Support (stores, CSSD, kitchen), and Common Areas (lobbies, waiting areas, cafeteria).
  • Room details: Area (sq ft), capacity, equipment installed, department assigned.
  • Floor plans can be uploaded as images for visual reference.

Room Booking

Book non-clinical spaces:

  • Conference rooms for meetings and CMEs.
  • Seminar halls for training programs.
  • Guest rooms for visiting consultants.
  • Calendar view showing availability.
  • Recurring bookings for regular events.
  • Booking approvals for high-demand spaces.

Utilisation Reports

Track how efficiently spaces are used:

  • OPD room utilisation: Hours used vs available.
  • OT utilisation: Surgical hours vs available hours.
  • Bed occupancy: By ward, floor, and overall.
  • Conference room usage rates.
  • Space cost allocation per department.
