Admitting a Patient
To admit a patient:
- Go to IPD > New Admission
- Select the patient (must be registered)
- Select the ward and bed (from the available beds list)
- Assign the attending doctor
- Enter the admission diagnosis
- Add insurance/TPA details if applicable
- Record the expected length of stay
- Click 'Admit'
The system creates an admission record, marks the bed as occupied, and starts the daily room charge billing.
ADT Workflow

- Transfer -- Patient is moved to a different bed/ward (e.g., from General Ward to ICU)
- Discharge -- Patient is discharged after treatment
Each ADT event is logged with timestamp and responsible staff member.
